The TUKE Division of Education at the rectorate level coordinates student registration services.
TUKE Division of Education at the Rectorate can serve as students’ house. It covers education of the first and second level of study at all nine TUKE faculties as well as provides activities of complementary forms of education via lifelong education, interest third age studies by University of the Third Age, supplementary pedagogical study conducted at the TUKE Department of Engineering Education. It is located in the main building of the university campus and staff can direct you to faculty study departments if need be.

TUKE Division of Science, Research and Doctoral Study at the TUKE Rectorate can serve as PhD house. It is responsible for coordination of science and research activities at the TUKE, methodological guidance and supervision of doctoral study at the TUKE, coordination and methodological guidance for preparation of domestic and international project proposals, organization of the TUKE Scientific Board activities, notification of documents, document integrity verification for habilitation and inauguration procedures, preparing documentation for inauguration procedures, awarding scientific degrees, the TUKE honoris causa degrees, professor emeritus title and the function of visiting professor, facilitation of meetings of the TUKE management and SAV, SKVH, VEGA, KEGA and APVV, increasing the academic qualifications of the TUKE research staff, managing the activities of the TUKE Commission for Science and Research, managing the activities of the TUKE Informatization Commission, managing the activities of Ethics Committee. It is located in the main building of the university campus and staff can direct you to faculty science, research and PhD departments if need be.

Relevant faculty study department performs registration of bachelor and master students. Doctoral students need to pay a visit to the relevant faculty department for science and research (entry into the TUKE Information System MAIS).
Followed by visit to the TUKE Institute of Computational Technology on the main campus to issue the student card ISIC for catering (charge in the TUKE canteens cashiers), entry to the university library, transport within city (charge in public transport service in Košice and Prešov).
It is recommended to have a consultation with IRO, academic contact, Erasmus+ coordinator, vice dean at the relevant TUKE faculty prior your departure.

ISIC is an international full-time student card. It is used to identify the student; it contains a photograph, the name of the school, the name of the student and the date of birth. Its validity is international, and therefore you can use discounts not only in Slovakia but also abroad around the world, from monuments to catering and restaurants, telephone operator services, cinemas, clothing stores, accessories, books, travel and transportation.
You can also carry your card in electronic form in an ISIC application. In this app, you also have several extra coupons that you will not find among the regular discounts in the database.
