The student dormitories in Jedlíkova Street belong to the largest student accommodation complex of the TUKE and of the city Košice itself. They are located on the southwest outskirts of the city, which enhances the feeling of small student estate housing. In the vicinity, there are shopping malls (Optima) and shopping centres (Kaufland) with the possibility of sporting and cultural activities.

The capacity of the dormitories is 3008 beds, including 60 beds of a hotel type, which serves tourists coming to Košice. Near the dormitories, there are public bus and tram stops, which provide good access to the city centre, to the bus and railway stations and to the airport. The dormitory complex also includes a student canteen, snack bar, bars, gyms, and a cultural and social centre with a theatre hall. Student accommodation is provided in the units, which include two double standard-furnished rooms. The unit includes a hallway with a bathroom and refrigerator. Each floor has a kitchenette with a hot plate and microwave. Of course, a high-speed internet connection is available. The dormitories have three laundry rooms and several rooms set up as gyms. In the dormitories, the student clubs such as Rádio9 or Student Television are established, and they inform students about what happens at the university and in the city.
The renovated units are provided in hotel accommodations. Hotel-type units are equipped with a complete bathroom with shower, hairdryer, WIFI and CTV and with a small kitchenette, refrigerator and kettle in the hallway.
The dormitory complex has sufficient capacity for parking cars. Accommodation in guest rooms is provided throughout the calendar year.
The Student Dormitories Němcovej are located on the TUKE main campus. They provide accommodation for students and visitors of Košice in renovated and cosily furnished double and triple rooms, in a separate one-bed studio and an apartment furnished in style. Rooms for guests are equipped with satellite TV, CD player, refrigerator and Wi-Fi Internet connection. Rooms have fully equipped bathroom. Accommodation is available even during the summer holidays.
Complementary facilities include a reception with non-stop service, a canteen and snack bar with hot meals on weekdays, and a drink vending machine.
Near the accommodation in the centre, there are bus and tram stops. The nearest restaurant is less than 600 m away in the shopping centre Merkúr with a marketplace.
The Student Dormitories Němcovej are located near the historic centre of Košice, just 2 km from the St. Elizabeth´s Cathedral, the Singing Fountain, the State Theatre, the House of Art and Hrnčiarska Street – the crafts lane. The Botanical Garden, the Zoo Garden, the Observation Tower with partly reconstructed walls of Košice castle, ski resort Jahodná, Anička Park, horse-riding centre, all these places bring an atmosphere of peace in the heart of beautiful nature, which is in close proximity of the student dormitories.

The dormitories are located in the city centre on the TUKE main campus. They offer nice accommodation for students and guests. Their advantage is the possibility of free parking in a well-lit parking lot directly in front of the dormitories.
Student rooms are mostly double rooms with standard equipment, and guest rooms are comfortably furnished in units 2 + 2 with reconstructed bathrooms.
For your comfort, we offer the possibility to have lunch in the canteen on weekdays. In the premises of the Student Dormitories there is also a bar /T club/ where you can relax. The advantage of these dormitories is their location, which offers a wide range of cultural and sporting events, and leisure activities - 15 minutes’ walk to the centre, to the Botanical Garden, and by means of public transport to the adjacent recreation areas such as Bankov, Anička, Alpínka, the Zoo, and the Children's Historical Railway whose route length is 4.2 km.
